Directory printing

Directory printing is a speciality of the Information Products division of BemroseBooth. Our services also include catalogue printing, brochure, color-leaflet and book printing, educational printing, data manuals, and magazines, and exam papers, timetables, retail directories and catalogues too.

We provide a total bulk commercial printing service, from origination through to the production, management, storage, and mailing out of your printed information products - either progressively or in the one complete volume.

We offer extensive pre-press options and have in-house reprographic facilities and proofing facilities, which enable tight control over the quality of all directory printing operations. The wide range of the latest sheet and web printing machines helps us to specialise in single, two, or multicolour printing, A4 or A5, multi-page, medium to large volume runs. We are also happy to print mathematical and foreign language publications.

Printed directories using large page numbers are efficiently produced by automatic pagination and imposition software used in the directory printing department. Direct-to-plate facilities are often implemented so by using large format web and sheet printing equipment, we can print 128 pages in the one pass.

We were one of the first companies to spot the advantages of organising computer-based information in the most effective way possible and to monitor its progress through our management information systems. Like all aspects of our directory and catalogue printing business, we've continuously refined this management of information activity, and it has evolved to become a highly powerful precision tool that enhances greatly the quality of printed information products. Consequently, we now accept almost any type of removable media, and are able to work with an equally wide range of technical information.

Over recent years our digital printing and data processing capabilities have advanced significantly. Currently 17 different machines - both sheet-fed and web - enable us to reproduce variable data-unique documents, or short-run publications, direct from your computer files.

Your completed printed information products can be web printed, perfect bound, wrapped, packed and despatched - all within days of receipt of your data.
