NCP have for the first time launched an advertising campaign counteracting the possible impact of the Congestion Charge Scheme which started in London on 17 February 2003.
This is a corporate first for the UK’s leading commercial parking operator. The campaign announces two major promotions:
A reduction in the all day parking rate
A Ł5 voucher off the all day rate for a month (10 February – 9 March).
Campaign created by Fusion
Media planning and buying by Starcom Motive.
The specialised campaign has been designed by Fusion, an emerging new media creative consultancy. NCP have also appointed Starcom Motive to handle the media planning and buying throughout the UK. The campaign will reaffirm NCP’s position as the market leader service provider in their field and their continued commitment to their customers.
Victoria McDowell, Marketing Controller for NCP said today
“ This is a corporate first for NCP. We are keen to maintain our reputation as the market leaders for customer service in this industry. We are delighted with the results of Fusion’s creativity. We are confident that our customers will benefit from the promotions we are announcing and also enjoy the campaign”.
Nick Drummond, Managing Director of Fusion said “ We are delighted to have been given this opportunity to design NCP’s first ever advertising campaign, and have enjoyed meeting the challenges it gave us. We are really pleased with the results which we hope will not only capture the public’s imagination but get NCP’s messages across clearly to their customers”.
In addition the Congestion Charge can be paid in 46 out of their 57 car parks within the charging zone. The radio and print campaign began on 9 February and runs until 2 March. Radio advertisements are featuring on Classic FM, Heart 106.2, LBC, Jazz FM and Capital FM and print advertisements in The Times Mail on Sunday and Sunday Times including unit trust and share square spaces.
