As part of its corporate structure streamlining measures, Ascom has decided to relocate its Corporate Communications department hierarchically under the control of the General Secretary.
In line with Ascom’s streamlining and restructuring process, the Corporate Communications department is to be regrouped, its activities are to be concentrated and reorganised, and the size of the department as a whole is to be reduced.
Due to these general changes in working conditions, Bettina Cohen, Head of Corporate Communications, has decided to leave the company.
In terms of organisational structure, Corporate Communications will now come hierarchically under the General Secretary. In addition to his role as General Secretary, Daniel Lack will assume the responsibilities of official spokesperson. This new arrangement becomes effective as of the 1st of June 2004. The Board of Directors and Group Management wish Daniel Lack a lot of success in the new, additional function.
Bettina Cohen will leave the company at the end of May 2004. The Board of Directors and Group Management would like to thank Bettina for all her hard work and dedication during this challenging and intensive turnaround phase, and wish her every success for the future.
