Bewator Group AB (Bewator) has signed an agreement with the private industrial group, Mellby Gård Industri AB (Mellby) to sell Cale Ticketing Gruppen AB (Cale Access). Mellby is controlled by Rune Andersson and will acquire all shares of Bewator’s fully owned subsidiary Cale Access.
“Cale Access has been a very successful operation within our group and has shown consistent high growth. It is now a well established and self-contained group and can benefit further from a strong and independent industrial owner like Mellby Gård” says Bo Kastensson, CEO of Bewator.
Cale Access, founded in 1955 and specialized in products for parking, has become one of the leading suppliers of advanced and flexible pay & display terminals in the world with subsidiaries in Norway, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany.
“Over the last few years Cale Access has established own subsidiaries in key markets and built a market position where our products are installed in about 40 countries around the world,” says Torkel Härdeman, MD of Cale Access. “New applications and technology create new market opportunities for our products and advanced management systems.
