Strada™ Rapide speeds up and simplifies cash collections and provides unparalleled security
Pay & Display
UK Head Office, March 8 2005 – Parkeon, the world’s leading provider of parking space management solutions, will be introducing an additional version of its Strada Pay & Display (P&D) parking terminal on Stand No. P43 at Parkex 2005.
Known as the Strada Rapide, it features an ergonomically-designed transferable cash box to make the coin collection procedures as fast and uncomplicated as possible.
Power consumption management has been optimised on the solar-powered Strada Rapide to increase further its daily ticket-issuing capability, making this environmentally-friendly varient a viable proposition in more heavily-used parking facilities.
Unparalleled security is also a feature with special materials incorporated to further enhance resistance against attacks. A highly secure electronic locking mechanism is fully-shielded inside the vault.
Two new semi-metallic finishes are being introduced with the new terminal: Trinity Green and Titanium Grey.
Parkeon will also be demonstrating Parkfolio™.Neo, its PC-based centralised management service for P&D systems. The latest version enables operators to review comprehensive, real-time data on parking revenues via a password-protected web site, with the option to print copies or save reports to disk.
Pay-on-Foot
Parkeon will be demonstrating a video-based Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) system integrated with its Varioflex™ barrier-controlled, pay-on-foot system for off-street parking facilities. Linked to the Company’s car park entry/exit terminals and automatic pay stations, the LPR facility automatically raises barriers for season ticket holders and other drivers who have pre-paid their parking, e.g. at airports. These speed-ups the entry/exit processes, saving drivers time and reducing queuing at car park barriers.
