T2 Systems, Inc. introduces PowerPark Flex™ Version 5.1 for managing the growing complexities of today's parking operations in a single system. PowerPark Flex 5.1 increases system functionality for administrators and field officers, offering usability improvements and support of new handheld ticketwriting features including image capturing and real-time communications.
T2 Systems has been a leading provider of parking management software, hardware and consulting services since 1994. The company's latest offering, PowerPark Flex 5.1, addresses today's multi-faceted municipal and campus parking operations in the field, office and online.
According to Blake Laufer, Vice President of Research and Development for T2 Systems, PowerPark Flex 5.1 was designed with significant involvement from current PowerPark Flex customers. "Parking management is a complex business with ever-changing needs. The new technology helps today's parking operation administrators and field officers better serve their customers."
The new version offers parking professionals real-time communications in the field using 802.11b or GPRS networks, flexibility to manage complex waiting lists, ability to allocate permits in bulk and support for a variety of payment plans. With LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) and Active Directory foreign authentication, users can access PowerPark Flex 5.1 using the same login name and password used to access the organization's internal operations network.
Field officers also benefit from the new features of PowerPark Flex 5.1. To give officers the information they need, when they need it, PowerPark Flex 5.1 supports the Casio IT-3000, Symbol 8846 and TDS Recon 200 handheld ticketwriters to bring real-time wireless communications to the field with vehicle and permit lookups. The software also supports the TDS Recon 200 to offer users image capture: photos taken in the field are automatically downloaded and attached to the appropriate citation
