Q-Park has been awarded a seven year contract to manage the car parking facility. Phase 1 of the car parking facility, which consists of two levels and approximately 200 car spaces, will open on the 17 th July. "We are proud to have Q-Park manage the parking facilities. The car park will be the first and last point of contact with the scheme for many people, therefore the quality of the car park operator is extremely important", states Pat Jennings.
The Shaws Castlebar project will represent a 12 million investment in the town. In addition to boosting local employment during the development of the Castlebar outlet, Shaws estimate that on opening the store will create 50 additional new jobs in the retail sector for the town. The Royal Theatre is the largest entertainment venue in Connaught , and third largest in the country. It is now firmly established as a premier venue on any nationwide tour, with top acts from across the globe appearing this autumn; including Daniel O'Donnell, Blood Brothers, Gaelforce, The Beautiful South, Harlem Gospel Choir, Finbar Wright, The Gipsy Kings and Charley Pride.
