Austin, TX, June 5, 2002 - SchlumbergerSema, a business segment of Schlumberger Limited, today announced that it has delivered and installed its Flexio™ parking garage control system for the City of Aspen, Colorado. This off-street solution will expand the city's installed base of SchlumbergerSema terminals to include both on- and off-street parking. After evaluating multiple off-street parking systems, one of the main reasons that the City of Aspen selected SchlumbergerSema was its seven-year history of providing quality products and customer service.
The new parking solution features a gated control system with pay-on-foot stations at pedestrian corridors, enabling motorists to access parking and payment 24-hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to the convenience of around-the-clock parking access, the Flexio system's credit card in/out feature gives motorists the option to use their credit cards for garage access, and allows them to make payment as they enter or exit the facility.

One immediate benefit of the new system is that 24-hour self-pay access to parking garages will help reduce operational expenses by enabling automated payment outside of normal working hours. Additionally, motorists will have the flexibility of the credit card-enabled automatic payment stations, and parking will be available around the clock.
