Bill Tidy, cartoonist and regular guest on Channel 4·s Countdown, has been confirmed as the after dinner speaker at the British Parking Association’s Annual Dinner. Held on the first evening of Parkex International, the world's biggest dedicated parking exhibition and conference, Tidy intends to give his audience an evening to remember. He said: ·I give a completely unique after dinner presentation. Not the usual stand-up comic delivering an endless stream of gags, but an astonishingly quick drawing display tied in with a sparkling running commentary covering everything from the day's news to bolshoi ballet shot putters, and anything that is humour at its best."
Although he is regularly seen on TV and appears on the radio, Tidy is perhaps best known for his cartoons, which have appeared in, amongst others, The Daily Mirror, Punch and Private Eye.
