If you have ever been to Soho and wandered around the narrow street you would probably be forgiven for ignoring the NCP Car Park on Brewer Street.
The car park was built in 1929 and has now become a listed building on the recommendation of the English Heritage.
In agreement with English Heritage the Department of Culture Media and Sport listed the Brewer Street NCP car park because they see the importance of the car park as an early example of motoring history as well as the fact the Car Park has the most intact example of a ramped Multi-storey structure in England
Although the Cap Park may not stay as a car park the English Heritage hopes through talks with NCP and their agents that they can find a solution where the building will retain the significant architectural elements of the car park while allowing the building to be developed.
