Bath and North East Somerset Council is carrying out a review of the parking scheme in the Central and outer Bath Residents Parking Zones.
The Review will include an assessment of the impact of the recently introduced outer area residents' parking zones.
One of the first findings to come out of the review is that permit holding residents in Central parking zone have found finding a parking space increasingly difficult. With increasing demand for scarce parking space by businesses, tourists and visitors, problems are being experienced by residents unable to park their vehicles over-night.
As a result there is free overnight parking between 6 o' clock in the evening and 8 o' clock in the morning for vehicles bearing Central Zone Residents' Parking Permits in Charlotte Street, Ham Gardens and Avon Street Car Parks.
