The British Parking Association has combined forces with Landor Publishing's Parking Review(ITALS) to take joint responsibility over the British Parking Awards.
The event was re-launched at Parkex International, in October, and will combine the BPA's long-running British Parking Industry Award (previously the Quality in Action Award) with Landor’ s competition, which was launched just last year. The event will now become the only awards ceremony for the parking industry and will benefit from the exposure and wide audiences that both the BPA and Parking Review(ITALS) can bring aboard.
BPA Chief Executive, Keith Banbury commented: "By amalgamating the BPA's long-running awards with Landor’ s venture, we will be giving the industry a single and very worthwhile awards ceremony. The BPA has long been focussed on raising standards within the industry, and this association will go some way to achieving that." Mark Moran, editor of Parking Review(ITALS) added that, with the two organisations working together, the event would become "the premier competition on the parking calendar".
The joint venture will see Parking News(ITALS) and Parking Review(ITALS) working together to promote the scheme in the run up to the 2003 event. For more details on how to enter the competition contact Simon Burgess at the BPA.
