Cards etc Inc and Aconite have formed a strategic alliance in which Aconite will become the foundation European channel partner and reseller of Cards etc’ Arterium solution for multi-application smart cards in EMEA.
Aconite delivers business IT consulting, systems integration and support services and software products for the financial and retail sectors specialising in EMV migration and smart cards. By adding Arterium to its existing range of smart card related products and services, in particular script processing, Aconite can offer end-to-end solutions for its clients and prospects.
“We are very pleased to be working so closely with Aconite,” said Craig Dower, President & CEO of Cards etc. “Their extensive consulting experience, especially in the areas of EMV, e-Trust and security, is highly complementary to Cards etc’s skills base and we believe they are well positioned to drive new business opportunities for our Arterium solution in the European market”.
Mike Woods, Aconite CEO, said: “There is a high level of activity in the EMV area throughout Europe as card issuers move to establish more secure payment platforms. Through establishing multi-application and post-issuance support via Arterium, issuers and service bureaus will provide significantly greater utility to their customers by enabling them to utilise further applications such as ticketing, loyalty, secure access and e-purse based payments”.
