Commenting on the start of the Crossrail Select Committee hearings, City Policy Chairman Michael Snyder said:
“We are delighted the Bill has gone to Committee, so that we can now sort out the details of this important transport link. We are pleased to be first to appear before the Committee to confirm our long standing support for Crossrail. However, we do have specific problems with certain details of the Bill and with some of the logistics for the building works.
We hope the Committee stage will not be too long, that the funding will be sorted soon, and the Bill will be passed into law in the near future, because the City, and in fact the whole of London, needs Crossrail
