Intermec Technologies Corp. customers now have a simpler way to service their data collection hardware, thanks to Intermec's new Medallion Multi-Vendor Product service. Medallion MVP extends the benefits of Intermec Medallion repair services to most, if not all, of a company's data collection hardware. From printers to scanners, from handheld computers to RF network products, more than 50 manufacturers' products are covered under the Medallion MVP program. There's just one number to call, one contract to maintain and one invoice to pay.

"Over the years, many companies purchase data collection equipment from multiple vendors, and managing repairs can be a challenge, said Steve Winter, Intermec vice president of global services. "By offering one-stop service, Intermec can help companies reduce the time and labor associated with maintaining multiple contracts and figuring out which vendor to call to resolve a problem. Our customers can expect more convenience and a consistent level of service and support by working with a single, trusted source."

The Medallion MVP service is available immediately.

"These days every minute counts," said Intermec Director Mike Lovelace. "Each minute spent deciding who to call when their system fails, increases downtime cost and certainly decreases efficiency and productivity. Our Medallion MVP service makes that decision easier. Just call Intermec and let us handle it for you."
