Maersk Logistics awarded by Wal-Mart once again

For the second year running, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. recognizes Maersk Logistics as the "Origin Cargo Manager of the Year". The "2002 Origin Cargo Manager of the Year" award was announced at Wal-Mart's headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Anthony A. Chiarello, President of Maersk Logistics Inc. stated in recognition of the award: "Maersk Logistics is honored to be named Wal-Mart's 'Origin Cargo Manager of the Year' for the second consecutive year. This award reflects Maersk Logistics' dedication to efficient supply chain operations and specialization in logistics solutions. To receive such a prestigious award is a validation of our commitment to Wal-Mart."
