Sainsbury's wins award for commitment to women in the workplace

Sainsbury's was praised for increasing the number of female board directors to 25 percent of the total and for appointing a female executive director. The company has also introduced a number of initiatives to help staff juggle work with home lives, including term-time contracts, job share, home working and career breaks.
