Companies included on the DJSI World are recognized as being the top 10% in corporate sustainability. Citigroup’s total company score on this index family was 56%, only 1% below the highest company score of 57% and well-above the average of 36%. DJSI evaluates areas such as corporate governance, codes of conduct, environmental policies and reporting, talent attraction and retention, and stakeholder engagement. It is the first index family tracking the performance of sustainability-driven companies representing 62 industries worldwide.

For inclusion in the FTSE4Good index series, Citigroup met specific criteria relating to environmental sustainability, good corporate citizenship, shareholder relations and support of human rights.
