DTI has today announced the appointment of Postcomm’s Chief Executive, Martin Stanley, as CEO of the Competition Commission. Martin will be leaving in the Autumn to take up his new appointment. Martin has led Postcomm since its inception, and his contribution to its achievements over the last four years has been immeasurable. Whilst we are disappointed to see Martin leave us, we all wish him the very best in his new role.

I and my fellow Commissioners will take forward the recruitment process for Martin’s successor with all due vigour. The Commissioners and Directors all support me in wanting to recruit a new Chief Executive who will ensure that Postcomm's culture and values are maintained so that we can build on the work we have started and achieve Postcomm's stated aims and objectives.
