DHL wins multi-million dollar contract with Standard Chartered Bank

DHL has been awarded a two-year multi-million dollar contract by Standard Chartered Bank. As the bank’s exclusive provider, DHL will undertake international door-to-door express services covering document and parcel deliveries from the bank's worldwide offices to all destinations around the world.
Standard Chartered's requirements will be overseen by DHL's Global Customer Solutions (GCS) division, which was established in January 2004 to provide a single point of contact across all markets for DHL's top global customers.
Located across the DHL global network, the GCS teams co-ordinate all of DHL's express, air and ocean freight services, and offer consultancy in solution development, implementation co-ordination, performance management and access to global industry expertise. The GCS teams based in Asia, Europe and the US comprise front- and backend professionals made up of global and regional customer managers, solution consultants, implementation & program support managers.
