Alien reaches 50m EPC Class 1 RFID tags milestone

Alien Technology® has announced that the company has now shipped 50 million EPC Class 1 RFID tags. The Alien® RFID tags are widely deployed in a large percentage of Wal-Mart and DoD-related RFID implementations.

Alien claims to lead the market in delivering reliable, high volume, low cost EPC-compliant RFID tags and readers.
