TOSHIBA TEC Europe and TAGSYS collaborate on RFID-Bar Code Printing

TOSHIBA TEC Europe, a retail and industrial automation solutions provider, has entered into an agreement with TAGSYS to integrate TAGSYS‚ MEDIO S003 RFID readers into TOSHIBA TEC's B-SX bar code printer portfolio. Available immediately, the integrated solution aims to reduce the total cost of ownership for enterprise ICT management infrastructure and ensures faster time-to-market for bar code printing assets.

The joint European RFID-enabled bar code printing solution combines TOSHIBA TEC's bar code printing technology and TAGSYS' RFID chipsets and tags. Together, the companies will develop projects and solutions that will support customers‚ requirements associated with automating, improving and reducing localized solutions‚ operating and maintenance costs
