A tie-up between Wincanton in Germany and TVS Logistics Services in India will enable a secure and reliable supply chain for both Indian automotive companies and European companies wanting to source from low cost countries like India.

Via its own logistics network comprising some 50 locations, Wincanton will manage a seamless supply chain from India right to the production sites of large automotive manufacturers and OEM suppliers.

In addition to transport management and warehousing services, Wincanton also offers Vendor Management Inventory (VMI). With access to inventory data and demand data, Wincanton can also manage inbound flows on behalf of TVS Logistics Services.

We offer the logistics support to make global sourcing successful.”

In return, through TVS Logistics' 24 locations near the auto component manufacturing hubs throughout India, Wincanton can offer its European customer base a strong logistics network in India.
