11/1/2006 Colin Klipin Appointed Global Head of Payments Source:http://www.barclays.com, Source date: Barclays PLC and Barclays Bank PLC (“Barclays”) today announced the appointment of Colin Klipin as Global Head of Payments. In this role Colin will be responsible for all payment activity across the Group and will lead a world class payments team bringing best in class payment services to all customer groups within Barclays. Colin will report to Frits Seegers, Chief Executive of Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Banking (GRCB). Colin Klipin joined on 2 October 2006 from ABN Amro where he was responsible for the Alliance Solutions Business. Prior to this he was at Deloitte Consulting where he was Director of the payments strategy practice. Before joining Deloitte, he was responsible for the payments business at Citibank and Bank of America.
