London's transport arrangements for the Golden Jubilee weekend have been finalised and are set out in a specially designed leaflet being launched today.

The capital is all set to play host to four days of festivities marking "Fifty Glorious Years" and the leaflet tells you everything you need to know about travel to the celebrations by Tube, Bus, Train, Docklands Light Railway, Tramlink and River Services.

It also has details of all major events taking place over the Golden Jubilee weekend (Saturday 1 June - Tuesday 4 June) as well as tips for getting to and from the events safely and quickly, travel card information and a guide to going out in London over the long weekend.

Mike Brown, London Underground Customer Services Director said:

"The Golden Jubilee Weekend is a great opportunity to mark the 50 years of service the Queen has given to this country and we are ready to play our part in the celebrations.

"London Underground has been working closely for many months with Transport for London, National Rail, the Golden Jubilee Weekend Trust, the police and the other agencies involved to ensure that people have a clear picture of what is happening in London and can get to and from the Golden Jubilee events safely."

Transport for London said:

"The Fifty Glorious Years leaflet is designed to meet the needs of the wide range of visitors to the Capital over the celebration weekend. We were determined that people unfamiliar with London and its public transport network should have good quality, easy to read information so they could enjoy the holiday weekend without having to worry about travel arrangements. We are delighted that everyone working in transport across London, as well as the event organisers, have come together to help make the celebrations a success."

London Underground is also marking the occasion of the Queen's Golden Jubilee with a limited edition pocket Tube map that will shortly be available at Underground stations. Tube services will also run all night (Monday 3 June - Tuesday 4 June) for only the third time in the Underground's history.
