Postcomm Has Not Agreed To Royal Mail Price Raises

Contrary to certain recent press reports, Consignia needs Postcomm’ s permission to increase its 1st and 2nd class mail prices and to change the national delivery specification, for instance by delivering domestic mail later in the morning. We are in discussion with Consignia about these proposals and have agreed that they may pilot their proposed new delivery specification. But we will consult widely, and take account of the delivery pilots, before making final decisions.
