Its part of a new marketing initiative from Cartoon Network. In the first campaign of its kind, Cartoon Network is using millions of bus tickets to promote its latest SMS competition. The two-week campaign gives passengers the opportunity to win a Nintendo Game Cube every day just by answering a simple question via an SMS text message.
Transport tickets look set to become one of the most popular places to promote SMS games and competitions due to several key facts including: 90% of school children and students regularly use buses, the average journey time is 17 minutes and proven recall has been recorded as high as 90%.
