The card is Bluetooth Specification Version 1.1 qualified and is listed on the Bluetooth Qualified Product List (BQPL) that can be found at the official site of the Bluetooth SIG (www.bluetooth.com ). The SiW1703 Radio Modem is a fully integrated, direct-conversion IC designed for ultra-low power consumption, low system cost and superior RF performance over an extended temperature range. The SiW1703 is Bluetooth Specification Version 1.1 qualified, supports the Nokia RF-BB interface and is in full volume production. The new card from Toshiba is an update of last year's SD version and targets portable consumer equipment such as digital cameras that have an SDIO slot. Silicon Wave's Bluetooth radio modem has allowed Toshiba to deliver a solution that dramatically reduces the size and power consumption of the previous SD model.
