Sainsbury’s exchanged a conditional contract for the sale of its Ten Blackfriars site on Stamford Street in London to the Beetham Organization for £48 million on 11 November 2004.
Sainsbury’s secured planning consent for the redevelopment of the Stamford Street site in February 2002. The Beetham Organization is now expected to prepare new plans for the future of the site, which is likely to lead to a new planning application.
