The National Retail Federation (NRF) announced today that Joseph LaRocca has joined NRF as Vice President of Loss Prevention. In his new position, LaRocca will be responsible for directing the Loss Prevention (LP) services at NRF, including NRF's annual LP Conference, NRF LP Advisory Council, and NRF Investigator's Network. LaRocca will act as an intermediary between NRF members and various private and government entities. He will also serve as an NRF spokesperson on loss prevention issues.
"Joe is an exciting addition to the NRF staff," said Tracy Mullin, NRF President and CEO. "His extensive loss prevention background and retail knowledge make him a valuable asset as NRF continues to expand services to our membership base and the loss prevention community."
LaRocca has served as a retail loss prevention executive for more than 18 years. Previously he held positions with Bullock's/Macy's, Rampage Clothing and most recently as Director of Loss Prevention for The Disney Store, Inc. LaRocca has been involved in NRF's loss prevention efforts for several years as an active member of the NRF Loss Prevention Advisory Council. He has also served as co-chair of the NRF Investigator's Network and has been a top-rated and frequent speaker at NRF's annual Loss Prevention Conference and EXPO.
