Five fully-branded Marks & Spencer taxis hit the streets of London today, following the launch earlier this month of its new Womenswear TV advertising campaign featuring Twiggy, Erin O'Connor, Laura Bailey and Noemie Lenoir.
The taxis are decorated in a pink cherry blossom design, inspired by de Gournay, to match that of the vintage Mini which features in the new ad.
Marks & Spencer bid £40,000 for a liveried taxi at the recent Retail Trust London Ball with the donation going to Retail Trust, the national charity for the retail industry. The taxis were generously provided for the auction by Taxi Promotions UK and will be operating in London for the next six months.
Asher Moses, Managing Director, Taxi Promotions UK commented: "Retail Trust is a fantastic cause and we are really pleased to be able to support the charity. The donation was so generous that we have agreed to provide five taxis."
Steven Sharp, Executive Director, Marks & Spencer commented, "It's always great to be able to help charities such as Retail Trust who are committed to looking after all people in retail. Asher couldn't have timed his offer better - the new ad launched last week and now the taxis are out on the road, I'm looking forward to spotting them around town."
