The deal further strengthens Hays’ supply chain relationship with Waitrose, the supermarket group having recently extended its £25 million frozen foods distribution contract with Hays Logistics.
Hays ACS, who recently also won a massive multi-million pound deal to control Sainsbury’s national RTP pool for fresh produce, has invested £1million at its Milton Keynes site and will be adding at least 34 more people to its current team of 20 that has managed the Waitrose crate contract for almost five years.
