Menlo Worldwide has announced the availability of customised RFID solutions that will enable companies to comply with government and retail industry RFID requirements, with a minimum of investment and risk.
Complete RFID solutions and professional services are now available through Menlo Worldwide Logistics as part of outsourced logistics services, and through Menlo Worldwide Technologies for stand-alone solutions and professional services.
Menlo Worldwide’s supply chain technologists and logistics engineers have spent the last 12 months working with customers and technology partners investigating RFID technologies and associated processes, with the goal of identifying and developing RFID solutions that will increase supply chain performance and reduce supply chain costs.
Menlo Worldwide now offers a spectrum of RFID solutions, from basic tag application services and facility-enablement, to strategic consulting services. Cases, cartons or pallets can be RFID-enabled, as well as shipping/receiving operations, warehouses and full factories.
“Menlo Worldwide has a proven track record in successfully implementing innovative, cutting-edge technologies that improve our customers’ supply chains and drive down their costs,” said Edward Feitzinger, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Menlo Worldwide. “With a limited investment, our customers can benefit from a low risk, secure partnership with an industry leader who will keep them current as the technology and standards evolve.”
Having completed one pilot RFID warehouse project, Menlo Worldwide is currently implementing two additional pilot projects. These pilots are focused on RFID-enabling the receiving of tagged material from contract manufacturers and the shipping of RFID-compliant products to key retail customers
