SATO America Inc. has created a special RFID Business Unit focused on helping customers understand and implement mandated RFID systems.
SATO America recently introduced multi-protocol, EPC-compliant RFID solutions for customer pilots and beta tests. SATO will now enable suppliers to Wal-Mart and other retail companies to meet the upcoming RFID mandates in North America.
Jan Svoboda, RFID business unit manager, has been appointed to lead SATO America's RFID Business Unit. He has been involved in RFID technology as SATO America's former RFID product manager.
SATO America's RFID Business Unit will report directly to Robert Linse, vice president of Sales and Marketing at SATO America with Victor Barczyk, vice president, Business Development, SATO International spearheading the worldwide effort.
"SATO America's new RFID Business Unit will enable Jan and his RFID team to better serve our customers' recent RFID market demands and demonstrates our total commitment to help develop and implement the appropriate RFID solutions," said Barczyk
