As part of a contract worth millions of euros, DPWN’s express and logistics subsidiary, DHL, is now handling nearly 80% of PepsiCo’s transport in Germany.
Approximately 11,000 container loads weighing some 250,000 tonnes will be delivered to the food and beverage industry annually from four national and international Pepsi locations.
The annual transport of 100 million cans and PET returnable and disposable bottles filled with PepsiCo beverages is presenting the experts at DHL Freight with a special challenge in the form of seasonal business fluctuations and dependency on weather conditions.
