RFID Workforce To Exceed 1.3 Million by 2015

More than 1.3 million people will be working in the RFID field by 2015, according to a new report from RFID Tribe.

The report, "The RFID Workforce: Mining the RFID Technology Gold Rush," estimates the market for RFID products and services will reach $7 billion by 2008, luring engineers and integrators into this potentially lucrative field.

RFID Tribe's 10-year forecast sizes the RFID workforce by geography, segment and function. The company surveyed 103 individuals, and used data form its own talent and career center
