CSK Auto has completed its implementation of 1,200 Hand Held Products imagers across 1,147 stores. CSK Auto is using Hand Held Products' IT4600, powered by Adaptus Imaging Technology, for time, attendance and signature capture applications.
CSK, along with Direct Source, a Minnesota based partner of Hand Held Products, developed a browser application to capture images of employee time sheets and other documents which are then electronically transmitted to CSK's home office.
Prior to implementing this application, documents were signed and mailed to the corporate office and stored in a warehouse. In order to resolve pay disputes, these documents had to be retrieved manually, making validation and locating missing documents an arduous and expensive task.
CSK also uses scanners from Hand Held Products for point-of-sale and delivery applications.
