Riverside Logistics has launched a new dry van division to serve the middle Atlantic and south-eastern states along the I-95 corridor.
The dedicated trucking operations using owner-operators pulling Riverside vans carry freight to and from points within the eastern half of the US.
These drivers have worked with Riverside for a long period of time. They not only drive but also handle the loading and unloading of freight for a variety of retailers and manufacturers.
Scott O’Donnell has joined Riverside Logistics as director of sales for the Logistics Division. Before joining Riverside, Scott worked for FWC Trucking as director of sales - logistics. He also held positions at Richfood and Union Camp. He has extensive trucking and shipper experience, with a particularly strong focus on the food industry. His primary role will be to develop new freight brokerage accounts.
Riverside is expanding this division to include refrigerated freight. This segment will haul mostly up and down the east coast from Maine to Florida.
Both the dry and refrigerated freight dedicated operations can provide time definite deliveries according to customers’ specific requirements.
