The Descartes Systems Group has completed its acquisition of certain assets of Cube Route, effective December 6th; and NationaLease Purchasing and AmeriQuest Transportation & Logistics Resources have completed their merger.
Descartes paid approximately US$1.6 million in cash for the Cube Route assets, and assumed certain Cube Route liabilities and incurred transactional expenses.
The acquired assets include specified accounts receivable and customer contracts, capital assets, technology, and other intellectual property. In addition, fifteen Cube Route employees will join Descartes.
NationaLease Purchasing Corp and AmeriQuest Transportation & Logistics Resources Corp have completed their merger after shareholders of both companies voted in favour of merging the two entities.
The unified AmeriQuest leasing participants operating under the NationaLease brand has formed the largest leasing organisation in North America with more than 700 locations. In addition, NationaLease now has the largest reciprocal road service network in North America
