Blue Dot's new owners, Mick Milnark and Gary Blohm, plan to expand upon the company's focus as a provider of data collection hardware and software solutions.
Milnark, the new president of Blue Dot, is the former director of sales for SSI. Blohm, formerly of Cisco Systems, is Blue Dot's CEO. Don Sneller, the founder of Sneller Systems, as Blue Dot Solutions was formerly known, will remain active in the company's day-to-day operations.
"We decided that our first priority is improving customer support for our existing client base," said Milnark, president of Blue Dot.
In addition to concentrating on customer service, the new owners plan to strengthen the company's wireless capabilities. "We have already made commitments to leading vendors in order to bring the best available mobile solutions, which include asset management, sales force automation, route sales and inventory control," said Blohm.
