England’s Rugby heroes now have even more to celebrate with a special Royal Mail Rugby World Cup stamp issue to be released on Friday 19 December
Two First Class and two 68p stamps – the 20g letter rate to Australia – will form a commemorative miniature sheet, bordered by the Cross of St George the four stamps show scenes from England’s historic 20 –17 victory against Australia on Saturday 22 November.
Gavin Macrae, Director, Stamps & Collectibles, Royal Mail said: “Royal Mail’s special stamp programme is for commemorating important events and anniversaries, and winning the Rugby World Cup has been a fantastic achievement.”
