DMA holds it’s first Mobile Marketing seminar to reveal the real power behind this increasingly popular direct marketing tool

The mobile channel is possibly the most direct form of marketing, opening up numerous new opportunities for direct marketers, often resulting in high levels of consumer response while building brand recognition and loyalty. This half-day seminar provides an insight into how to use the medium effectively in dm campaigns, and as part of an organisation's longer term CRM strategy, showing how to engage consumers in a truly interactive experience whilst protecting their rights and privacy.

Charles Ping, Conference Chairman and Deputy Chair of the DMA, commented, "The development of mobile marketing has opened up a variety of opportunities for direct marketers, yet the industry has been slow to adapt to this new technology. This conference provides essential information about the Regulations governing this area, looks at the numerous benefits of mobile marketing and shows how mobile can be integrated into an overall marketing strategy."

Delegates will hear findings from the first in-depth study looking at the psychology behind consumers' participation in mobile campaigns, as well as case studies from leading brands such as Vodafone, French Connection, first direct and William Hill. Case studies will be presented by leading industry experts on various aspects of mobile marketing including: best practice, how the charity sector can benefit from the mobile channel, using mobile marketing as a response mechanism, and developing and utilising your own opt-in database.
