This year's Graeme Robertson Trust award asks students to create a mail pack which is easy to send through the post and sells their favourite bar snack
The Graeme Robertson Trust award is an annual award scheme administered by the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and sponsored by Royal Mail. It offers students across the UK the chance of having their work critiqued by top Creative Directors and a reward of £1,000 for the winning entry.
All finalists are invited to a Soho pub to discuss their portfolios and get advice from industry experts over a beer before the winning team or individual is announced. In addition to the cash prize, the winner will gain a two week work placement at leading agency, EHS Brann and additional placements are also up for grabs to other strong contenders.
This years brief simply asks Students to 'Sell us a Bar Snack' through an innovative direct mail pack. The mail pack should be for any snack that is available in the United Kingdom, from crisps and nuts to pork scratchings and can be targeted at any regular frequenters of pubs or bars.
Close of entries for this year's award is 17 June 2005. For more information on this year's competition and how to enter please visit www.dma.org.uk/grt.
