Door to Door Council has launched the first edition of the DMA Door to Door Practitioner’s Handbook.
Following a major project conducted by the Door to Door Council to review and update material related to Door to Door best practice, the Council has launched the first edition of the DMA Door to Door Practitioner’s Handbook.
Available in both hardback and online, the Handbook includes best practice guidelines for practitioners, guidance notes for associated suppliers such as printers and transport companies and acts as a general reference point for everyone using this popular channel of communication.
Mark Young, Chair of the DMA’s Door to Door Council commented, “The need to display best practice within the industry has never been greater and this Handbook forms an essential part of the work the Council is doing to promote greater industry standards. Everyone involved in Door Drop marketing will benefit from this guide and the Council plans to review and update it on a regular basis as the industry develops and evolves.”
The Handbook has been produced in a series of four sections; The DMA Door to Door Council and Interest Group; Door to Door Best Practice Guidelines; Door to Door Guidance Notes and an Appendix which includes a Glossary of Terms and useful contacts.
Practitioner members are entitled to five copies of the Handbook free of charge and can request additional free copies. The Handbook is also available online at www.dma.org.uk/bestpractice.
