Citibank is leading the U.K. high street banks on branch hours by opening key branches with a full counter service for 12 hours a day, six days a week – among the longest opening hours of any high street bank branch – so that customers can get to the bank in the morning and evenings on their way to and from work.
Citibank staff will be on hand for customers from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, (*) at the bank’s Oxford Street, The Strand, Monument and Canary Wharf branches in London. The branches will offer a full counter service and have staff on hand to provide face to face assistance on Citibank’s extensive range of current and savings accounts, Citigold investment services, foreign currency bank accounts, international funds transfers, travel money and credit cards.
Nandan Mer, Country Business Manager, Citigroup’s U.K. Consumer Group, said: “With today’s increasingly hectic pace of work and social life we are responding to consumer needs by opening our doors when it suits them. Our customers now have the option of banking or discussing their finances outside of a busy lunch hour or peak shopping times.
