Bemrose are market leaders in the corporate advertising market. In recent years, this long-established company has achieved spectacular success in the specialist concept category of calendar publishing.
Jenny Cross, Bemrose Product Manager, revealed:‘Current trends in popular best-selling calendars reflect the high value and status of the advertiser. By selecting a title that delivers this promise, customers demonstrate the high regard and respect in which they hold their clients. It’s an important expression of shared values and appreciation. Our customers know the calendar delivers high performance; they simply want to optimise their investment by giving the best there is.’
Bemrose received the accolade of twelve awards at the annual National Calendar Awards presentation evening, and brought home all but one of the Corporate Stock Calendar Awards. The event, held at the London School of Communication on 19th January, is now in its 39th year, and many entries were received for products in the corporate and retail sectors. The panel of judges included experts in photography, printing, reproduction, design and graphics, as well as the media and consumer representatives.

Bemrose received major Trophy awards for Perspectives in the Corporate Stock Calendar category, which features inspiring images of some of the world’s most impressive architectural and engineering feats. The Best New Calendar Trophy was awarded to the prestigious National Gallery, while Wild Earth was the Trophy winner in the Best Natural History Photographic Calendar category.
Two Highly Commended certificates were awarded to Light and Landscape, featuring the work of highly respected landscape photographer, Joe Cornish, and one to stylish contemporary glamour calendar, Natural Contrasts. Bemrose also received a Highly Commended Certificate and a Certificate of Merit as printer of the Oxfam Family Organiser.
Certificates of Merit also went to the breathtaking Colin Prior – Scotland; Nature’s Family, with its intimate photographic portraits of much-loved world wildlife and Spirit of Adventure, which raises funds every year for the RNLI.
Commented Joe Pleshek, Bemrose’s Business Development Director, ‘this has been one of our best ever years in the National Business Calendar Awards. As market leader, we view the annual development of our calendar range as a key differentiator. Bemrose has assembled a unique team of experts to accomplish the task, and we are delighted to see their creative efforts recognised by the NBCA.’
