Specialist and secure print services group BemroseBooth has appointed Vanessa Tate, 31, as business development manager of its Secure Logistics division.

Ms Tate, who has over ten years’ experience within print-related industries, will be responsible for developing the low cost radio frequency identification (RFID) market within the access management and secure logistics arenas, throughout the UK and Europe.

She will work across a number of industries, including automotive, leisure management and brand protection, whilst also liaising with key original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Systems Integrators.

Commenting on the new appointment, Robert Hoon, director of BemroseBooth Secure Logistics, said:

“Vanessa will be part of a focused management team researching and developing emerging technologies, particularly in the field of low-cost smart solutions.

“We are already well advanced in the development of integrated ticketing and labelling across a variety of applications, which will not only enhance revenue protection, but will also help in improving efficiencies, as well as increased data capture.”
