in the Security Print mailing field by the installation of the Océ
VarioStream 7650 Twin Laser Printing lines
The lines are duplex enabled and capable of variable speed and
resolution printing, from 240 to 600 dpi at speeds of up to 18,000
feet per hour
This MICR unit allows the printing and personalisation of A4 and
A3 (12" drop) continuous cheque stock at speeds of up to 250
pages per minute. 17" and 24" drops also available.
BemroseBooth is already an APACS approved supplier and the addition
of this system to its current plant will enable the production of
high volume, high quality MICR encoded documents in a single pass
giving huge advantages in improved levels of security per document.
With full APACS approval, the print unit has been tested and conforms
with Grade 1 of the PIRA / APACS qualification procedure for cheque
in filling.
With the use of PReS document composition software, complex forms
including graphics and logos can be incorporated with no impact
on the MICR line.
We feel that this method of MICR document production is the most
cost effective available today.
