The benefits are clear; as warehouse operatives do not have to open boxes or scan individual products they can rely on RFID chips, which can be read simultaneously, to save time and money.
With RFID a pallet can be scanned and using NFC all data will be reported. Many companies that have to store thousands of items have also found that barcodes can become damaged and dirty, making it difficult to read them. With RFID this is not a problem. The data is easily accessible and as every item can be located, tracked and traced it also reduces incidents of theft.
